With in Days after the announcement of Election Results and Removal of Code of Conduct, there comes a Flood of Jobs for Job-Seekers and Today Its SBI That announced its Assistant Recruitment Project 2014 and invited applications for Over 5000 Posts in Clerical Cadre. 

SBI Assistant Recruitment 2014 is one of the Biggest Recruitment's in SBI after 2014, SBI advertised over 8000 Posts. Aspirants who are graduates and are below 28 years of Age are eligible to apply for Assistant Jobs in State Bank of India (SBI).

SBI Assistant Recruitment 2014 : Vacancy Details

State Bank of India (SBI) invites online applications from the Eligible Indians for 5000 Assistant Posts. Applicants who are willing to apply are advsied to apply only for One state and they can appear for exam only at the Center in the State for which they have applied for.

Vacancies: Over 5000

Salary : Applicants will get Rs 17000 (Appox) Salary after they join as a Assistant in SBI

Selection Process: The Recruitment of Assistants in SBI, shall consist of Written Exam and then followed by Interview. For the Interview phase, candidates will be shortlisted in the Ration of 1:3 to the number of vacancies.

Written Exam: The Written Exam will be objective in Nature and comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ's) from the following Sections

1) English 
2) General Awareness
3) Reasoning
4) Quantitative Aptitude
5) Marketing Aptitude and Computer

Each Section Comprises of 40 Questions, with each Question carries 1 Mark. The Total Duration of Written Exam will be 2 Hours. There will be pentalty of 0.25 marks, If you answered a Question incorrectly.

Note: To Qualify the Written exam, applicants need to score Minimum Marks in each of the sections, ie. They need to Pass each section individually.

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?

Those who are willing to apply for Assistant Jobs in SBI, must full fill these below mentioned eligibilty conditions

  • Applicants must be above 20 years and below 28 years (As on 01-05-2014)
  • Applicants must have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized Indian University. Final year students can also apply, provided they have passed their Graduation before 31st Aug, 2014
  •  Applicants must be well versed in English language and Must be proficient in the Local Language of the State.

 How to Apply ?

Only Online Applications are accepted to apply for Assistant Jobs in State Bank of India (SBI). Remember the Last Date to apply online for Assistant Jobs in SBI is 14th June, 2014.

Application Fees: Applicants need to Pay Rs 450 (For General and OBC) and Rs 100 (For Reserved Category). You can fees either through Online Mode (Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards etc). Or you can choose to pay fees in any SBI branch.

Online Application: Applicants can submit their applications online at the SBI Official Website @ After that, you need to find the appropriate link that contains the application form. Fill the form by following the On-Screen Instructions. 
Thereafter, applicants need to take the Print Out of the System Generated Application form and preserve It for future usage.
