SBI Specialist Officers Call Letter 2012 for Written Exam

State Bank of India (SBI), had announced the Dates for Specialist Officers Exam 2012. Those candidates who have successfully registered themselves Online for Specialist Officers Exam before the Last Date can appear in Written Exam on 02-12-2012. The Exam is being conducted by Central Recruitment and Promotion (CRPD) Mumbai across different venues and Locations in the Country

All those candidates who are going to appear in the Written Exam, must download their Call Letters from the Official Website, as the SBI Call Letter is the must have document to appear in the SBI Specialist officers Written Exam 2012.

The Starting Date for Downloading the SBI Specialist Officers Call Letter is 19th Nov, 2012 (Two Weeks before the Examination Date). Along with Call Letter, applicants must download the "Accquiant Yourself Booklet". as it contains the required Instructions and Detailed Information about the exam.

Note: Date for Downloading the Specialist Officers Call Letter in changed and now the Call Letter can be downloaded from 26-11-2012.For details, read the Updates given at the end of this post.

How to Download the SBI Specialist Officers Call Letter 2012 ?

To manually Download the Call Letter from the SBI Official Website , applicants must follow the simple steps given below
  1. Log on to SBI Official Website @
  2. On the Homepage, click on the Recruitment Link on the Right side of the page.
  3. After that, click on the appropriate Link for Downloading the call letter
  4. On the Call letter Download Page, applicants will have to enter their Registration Details (Like Registration No and Password) to download the Call letter
  5. After Entering the Registration Details, applicants will have to click on the Submit Button
  6. If the Registration Details are correct then the Specialist Officers Call Letter will appear on the Screen, and must be Printed OR Saved for taking Print-out Later.
Note: Applicants must note that SBI will not send the Hard Copy of the Call letter to the candidates at the Postal Addresses. 

The Only way to obtain the Call Letter is  to Download it from Official Website by following the above mentioned steps

Identity Verification

Applicants are required to prove their Identity in the Examination Hall by showing their Identity Proof. Identity Proof can be any of these Documents
  • Passport
  • Aadhar Card 
  • PAN Card
  • Driving License
  • Voter’s Card
  • Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph
Applicants are required to carry with the Identity Proof in Original as well as photocopy.

Caution: In case, the Invigilator feels that Identity of candidate is doubtful, his/her candidature is likely to be cancelled.

An Important Update (An on 19-11-2012)

We would like to Update all of our Readers, that SBI had made a Few Changes in the SBI Specialist Officers Exam 2012.

1) There will be no Written Exam for the post of  Economists, Security and Fire & Safety.

2) For All other posts the Written Exam will be conducted in 3rd Dec, 2012

3) Date for Downloading the Call Letter has been changed. Now, you can Download the Call Letter along with "Acquaint Yourself" Booklet on or after 26-11-2012
