Institute
of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had revolutionized the Bank
recruitment system in India.IBPS came into existence only last year when
the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India
had approved the IBPS for Conducting the First ever Common Written Exam
for Selection of Officers and Clerks.Soon after the IBPS was given
approval, IBPS had issued the Notification for the First Ever Bank
Common Entrance exam on 6th July 2012 and the exam was successfully
conducted by IBPS on 18th September, 2012
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2012
IBPS
had conducted the first ever Clerk Recruitment exam in the month of
Nov-Dec, 2011, in which approximately 44 lakh students have registered
for the exam, Out of 44 lakh students, 30 lakh students have appeared in
the exam.The IBPS Clerk Results were declared on 29th February, 2012 in
which 5.31 lakh students have been declared as successful.These
successful students can now apply for Clerical Jobs in 19 Public Sector
banks

between the specified dates by submitting the Online Application form at
the IBPS Official Website (www.ibps.in).

The
Detailed Information for submitting the Online Application form or
Online Registration for IBPS Clerk Exam 2012 will be provided in the
Detailed Notification document that will be published on the Official
Website.The Online Registration process involves submitting the IBPS
Online Application form (Including Payment Details) at the time of
Online Registration.After successful registration, you will get
confirmation by Email and SMS.
IBPS Clerk Exam Syllabus 2012
The
Syllabus for IBPS clerk exam shall consists of Objective test
consisting of sections such as Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General
Awareness, English and Computer Knowledge.The Objective test is of 150
marks and has a duration of 2.5 hours.
Note:
Students must note that they have to secure minimum marks in each of
the Objective tests separately, failing which they will not be declared
as successful.It is worth mentioning here that Minimum Marks in each of
Objective tests in the IBPS Clerk Exam is 24.
Preparation for IBPS Clerk Exam 2012
As
all of us know that IBPS Clerk Exam will attract the attention of
Undergraduates, Graduates and Post Graduates so the number of registered
candidates in this exam is said to be around 50 lakhs.So we can expect

the IBPS Official Website (www.ibps.in).The dates for downloading the
IBPS Clerk Call letter will be mentioned in the Detailed IBPS Clerk Advt
2012.Along with the Call letter, students can also download the
Information Handout that contains the detailed description about the
IBPS Exam pattern (Like Syllabus, Number of Questions etc)
Note: Students must mote that No hard copy of call letters will be sent to candidates at their correspondence address.
IBPS Clerk Exam Result 2012
IBPS
had made the recruitment process much speedy that we can expect the
Clerk results to be declared with in span of 60 days to 80 days.IBPS
Clerk Results 2011 were declared in the span of 2.5 months.The Passed
students in the IBPS Clerk Exam 2012 will compete for 20,000 vacancies
in the 19 Public Sector banks for 2012-2013
The
IBPS Clerk Results 2012 will be declared on the IBPS Official Website
(www.ibps.in).Students can check their results at the IBPS Official
Website by entering their Registration details at the result's page.The
result will be displayed in the form of either PASS or FAIL status

IBPS Clerk Scorecards 2012
Passed
students in the IBPS clerk Recruitment Exam 2012 will be issued
scorecards based on their performance in the exam.The scorecard will
provide the detailed marks secured by candidates in each of the sections
independently.The score cards will be sent to candidates at their
Correspondence address, soon after the declaration of the IBPS Clerk
Result 2012.

Soon
after the Declaration of IBPS Clerk Results, public sector banks will
invite applications for vacancies in their respective vacancies.Passed
students can apply for the clerical vacancies if they satisfy the
Eligibility criteria of the Individual banks
IBPS Clerk Exam 2012 Cut Off
Cut
Off in the IBPS Clerk exam is expected to be very high.So target not
less than 180 marks in the IBPS Clerk Exam.The important point to note
