Bank of Baroda being the third largest Public Sector bank in India, next only to SBI and PNB is the top choice among the unemployed graduates of India.Since July 2011, the Bank of Baroda is conducting separate recruitment exams for the posts of Clerks, PO's and Specialist Officers.The bank conducts its own written exams and then the Interview.But is July 2011, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has issued notification for the Recruitment of Probationary Officers through a Common Written Exam, in 19 public Sector banks of India (Including Bank of Baroda).So BOB will no longer have to conduct its own individual tests for the Recruitment of Probationary Officers in 2012.

Bank of Baroda Under IBPS

Bank of Baroda is one of the participating bank in the Common written exam for the post of Probationary Officers and Management Trainees.The Common Written Exam was held in the month of September 2011 and November 2011 (Supplementary) and accordingly its result was declared on 12th December 2011.In the IBPS CWE PO Result 2011, approximately 1.1 lakh students have been declared as successful in the exam.

Whenever Bank of Baroda will issue the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in 2012, only the successful candidates in the IBPS PO/MT Exam 2011 are eligible to apply.The bank will invite applications based on the IBPS score and their own Eligibility conditions (Like Age, Educational Qualifications etc).It is worth mentioning here that Students who are declared unsuccessful in the IBPS PO Exam 2012 are not eligible to apply for Bank of Baroda PO Recruitment 2012.

Bank of Baroda PO Recruitment 2012 can be announced any time as IBPS PO Results have been declared and as we mentioned earlier that is on the path of expanding its business with the opening of new branches, so accordingly the bank will need the mangers to manage the management.So successful students in the IBPS PO Exam must start preparing for the Interview as there is long list and huge recruitment in the banking sector.
